Heart specialists from the Pacific International Hospital say women and heart disease is an important topic.
Dr Suresh Venkita Medical Director from PIH revealed that more women are dying from heart related diseases globally due to late presentation and detection.
Free screening for symptoms that might have a bearing with the risk of stroke or heart attack is offered at the PIH Chest pain clinic every Friday and women and men are encouraged to undergo regular check-ups.
