PSO runs paralegal training

The Public Solicitor's Office is currently running a Paralegal Training Workshop at Dixi's Bungalow, 17 mile, from Monday 28th May to Friday 1st June 2018.

In welcoming the 20 participants on behalf of the Acting Public Solicitor, Leslie Mamu, the Deputy Public Solicitor –Civil, Thomas Ilaisa, expressed the PSO’s gratitude to the JSS4D for funding the program so that officers from the PSO's 22 branches and desks can be brought in to be up skilled.

Mr Ilaisa said that this workshop is very important as an orientation for new officers to the PSO because it will inform them in what the PSO does and what services they can provide.

As such, Mr Ilaisa encouraged the participants to pay attention to the facilitators presentation, so that at the end of the workshop the participants should have a basic understanding of how the PSO fits into the Law and Justice Sector and the National Administration of Justice.
