Spouses of leaders of the APEC economies are all set for the Spouses Program today, including the wives of the invited Pacific Islands leaders.

The spouse of US Vice President Mike Pence, Second Lady of the United States Karen Pence, has arrived with wife of Prime Minister Peter O’Neill on hand to receive her.

Malaysia, China and Japan, including the Pacific nations of Nauru, Tuvalu and Solomon Islands, have also arrived.

Simbu dancers have lined the entrance of the International Convention Centre awaiting the arrival of the rest of the leaders’ partners.
