K25,000 for Cheshire Disability Services

According to the Theodist National Sales and Marketing Director Kevin Anderson, the contribution will support Cheshire Disability’s vital programs focused on improving the lives of people with special needs.

Anderson said Theodist has a long and proud history of collaboration with Cheshire Disability.

Office furniture for police

The donation reflects Theodist’s efforts in supporting law enforcement agencies.

Furniture worth K10,000 was donated based on the need of the police stations.

Theodist CEO Kumar Baliah said the company prides itself in extending support to the police agencies to help them perform their duties effectively.

“We acknowledge the pivotal role that law enforcement officers play in our community and we resolute in supporting them with the necessary resources to perform their duties effectively,” Baliah said.

Park launches Snakeastic program

The event was launched yesterday. It also includes a partnership with Capital Insurance Group Limited and Theodist.

‘Snaketastic’ is a month-long snake conservation and snakebite awareness event aimed at clearing any myths that circulate about snakes, addressing common fears of snakes, and profiling their importance in the ecosystem.

Sharing his thoughts on the importance of the event, SJA CEO Matt Cannon said snakes and humans share the environment.

“Normally snakes have no interest in humans but sometimes we come across them in our day-to-day lives,” Cannon said.

Graphic design book launch

Graphic Design, a ubiquitous presence in modern society, graces everything from signs and book covers to currency and artwork. This year's Book Week aims to shed light on the exciting world of Graphic Design, offering insight into the opportunities it presents and the artistic avenues it opens.

A remarkable highlight of the event involves 10 young enthusiasts from Buk bilong Pikinini embarking on a field trip to Theodist Business Store. 

Residents win thousands in travel vouchers and spending

Prizes included travel vouchers and cash, worth K35,000.

Claiming the prestigious 1st prize was Patrick, who walked away with a remarkable K15,000 travel voucher, supplemented by K2,000 in spending money. The 2nd prize winner received a travel voucher valued at K10,000, accompanied by K2,000 in spending money.

Rounding off the winners' circle, one customer celebrated his victory as the recipient of K5000 travel voucher and K1,000 in spending money.

Theodist supports Cricket development

The tournament featured teams from the Lae Cricket Association (LCA) and the Popondetta Cricket Association (PCA) competing to select a team for the upcoming PNG Games and Isuzu Cup.

The Women's grand final showcased an exceptional performance by Lae Gold, led by captain Elizabeth Farah, who scored an explosive 36 runs from just 22 balls.

Lae Gold dominated the match, defeating Popondetta convincingly and claiming the victory.

The event was well-received by customers, and it brought smiles to their faces. In addition to the games, the Port Moresby branch also hosted a sausage sizzle for Cheshire Disability Services, a non-profit organization that supports people with special needs.

Theodist renews 50K sponsorship

The company has provided financial assistance to the PNG Olympics Committee (PNGOC) and actively participated in coaching, team management, and officiating at international events.

Theodist's continuous involvement and support of PNGOC led to the appointment of Ryan Pini, the company's Corporate Development Manager and four-time Olympian for Team PNG, as Chef de Mission to the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024.

BACK TO SCHOOL winner gets new car

Theodist Business Development Manager, Ryan Pini, drew the winner’s name.

Mr Pini said Theodist has supplied office products in Papua New Guinea for over 50 years, and strives to provide customer service and shopping experiences. To give back to the community, the business organized the WIN A CRV competition.

K50, 000 To Support Early Learning

BbP held an event at the Book Shop & Reading Corner at Theodist, where seven students were dressed in Theodist uniforms to receive the cheque handed over by Corporate Development Manager, Ryan Pini and Purchasing Manager, Shaun Pini. 

Ryan Pini said, “Like Buk Bilong Pikinini, Theodist acknowledges the value of early childhood education and understands that an investment in our children is an investment in the future of Papua New Guinea.” 
The former swimming champion and manager also read one of the new readers to the children.
