Hunters four weeks behind pre-season training

Chairman of the PNG Rugby Football League, Sandis Tsaka said this is because of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

“Because of the World Cup, they have blocked off all the venues so our boys haven’t been able to train at the venues.

He said straight after the final of the World Cup on December 3, the boys will go into camp to start pre-season training on December 4.

“They will go on for three weeks before taking the Christmas break and come back in January for a further six weeks of training,” said Tsaka.
