Cathedral School in Townsville has space for PNG students

Evidently, a few institutions from Australia were in Port Moresby recently to promote their schools to the PNG community. This was during the two-day (July 20-21) PNG Industrial & Mining Resources Exhibition at the Sir John Guise Indoor Stadium, Port Morebsy.

Luke Baill, the head of junior high at the Cathedral School in Townsville, North Queensland, confirmed about 15 Papua New Guinean students in total were studying with them.

53 organisations partake in industrial exhibition

The annual event aims to attract current employees of the industrial and mining sector from PNG and expected interest from the industrial sector within the located region.

Staged at the Sir John Guise Indoor Stadium this year, the event will be held over two days, Wednesday (July 20) and Thursday (July 21).

The exhibition has attracted some overseas organisations, particularly from Australia, and includes representation from schools, banks, and the airline industry as well apart from the industrial and mining industry.
