The two had agreed upon the idea for a night of father-and-son collaboration.

This idea was incorporated with Sharzy’s first leg of the Pacific Tour staged at the Cosmopolitan last night, February 24.

“We wanted to make it a family thing so it will be like Leonard and his son Silas Kania and Sharzy and his son Jaro Local. And we got the support of Tarvin Tounie and Dema Saul,” Sharzy said.

Even the crowd came in family groups to watch their favourite family-time artists.

Next weekend will be his first visit and performance to Alotau, Milne Bay Province, thanks to his latest hit song Wahine Alotau.

The man from Simbo and Malaita in the Solomon Islands will welcome 2017 in Alotau with a two-night concert, from December 30 to 31.

The performance, part of his Bilas Bilum tour, will be at the Alotau International Hotel’s jetty entertainment club, made possible by Studio B37 Media Sparksv.

You ask why?

Because Sharzy will be performing an exclusive kids concert on December 31, at the Alotau International Hotel.

Organised by Studio B37 Media Sparksv, “Sharzy’s Kids Concert” will be hosted on the hotel’s Jetty Entertainment Club, open to those from 6-17 years old.

“Sharzy has many fans here in Alotau, especially with his recent song Wahine Alotau so we thought we should give something separate for the kids,” said Lydia Mascord, event organiser with Studio B37 Media Sparksv.

Saul made the announcement in front of hundreds of music enthusiasts who had gathered to watch him perform alongside Solomon Islands music sensation, Sharzy. They were celebrating the commissioning of the new Madang Town market.

Pulim Pis, which is a simple and catchy single produced in the sentimental genre, has already become a household favourite in PNG following its continuous replays on radio. The single even topped the PNG weekly music countdown last year (2015).
