Seasonal outlooks are released monthly to summarise climate outlooks for the next three months.
PNG has been made a focus country to implement the climate services framework.
PNG National Weather Service (NWS) director Samuel Maiha says there’s a great need to establish weekly, monthly and seasonal outlooks in order to implement the climate services framework.
Maiha said due to that, they’ve been having issues trying to progress with the framework.
