Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, Helena Bonham Carter and rapper Awkwafina are close to deals to join Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway and Cate Blanchett for the Warner Bros. heist film "Ocean's Eight," according to sources close to the production.

The casting of the spinoff, which was first reported by Deadline, follows the studios' successful "Ocean's Eleven" franchise. This time the crew will be all women.

The Canadian rapper performed at Madison Square Garden in New York City Saturday night and declared his love for R&B songstress while addressing the crowd.

 "If you've got love for Rihanna in New York City...cuz you know I've got love for Rihanna," he told the audience before launching into a few of her songs, according to Page Six. The concert also featuredFuture.

Her rep reassures E! News that the singer, who is currently in France as part of her European leg of the Anti World Tour, is OK despite being in the area of the tragic incident, which has reportedly claimed the lives of at least 77 people and injured upwards of 100.

The music superstar traveled to the New Jersey Performing Arts Center Friday evening for the annual Black Girls Rock! event.

Set to air this Tuesday on BET, the annual event helps to promote the arts for young women of color as well as encourage dialogue and analysis of the ways women of color are portrayed in the media.

Activist and model Bethann Hardison helped close out the show by bestowing the Rock Star Award to Rihanna who had a special message to share with fans.

The singer has pushed the start date of her Anti world tour, which was originally slated to kick off on Feb. 26 in San Diego, and instead will begin the tour on March 12 in Jacksonville, Fla.

Additionally, RiRi has rescheduled eight dates for May including gigs in San Diego, Oakland, San Jose, Houston, Austin, Dallas, Atlanta, Phoenix and New Orleans.

So why all the changes? A source tells E! News the Barbados beauty and her team are apparently experiencing production delays with the show. Womp, womp.

But at New York Fashion Week on Friday, she let her models make the splashy entrances. After all, she was the designer this time.

The self-proclaimed bad girl opened up to NME magazine about her public persona and why she won't be enlisting in T.Swift's famous star-studded squad any time soon.

When asked if she would be up for popping onstage with the 1989 singer, she replied, "I don't think I would. I just don't think that makes sense."

RiRi added, "I don't think our brands are the same; I don't think they match. I don't think our audiences are the same."

But the Bajan beauty wasn't trying to throw shade in Swift's direction, either.

Dating rumors between the two sparked a while ago after the Memphis Grizzlies player made it clear that he was feelin' the Barbados beauty. He made her his #WCW (Woman Crush Wednesday) on Instagram a few months ago, and would flirted with her over Twitter a couple years ago when she sat courtside at his Lakers games.

His ex-wife Gloria Govan even reportedly gave her stamp of approval—as long as she got hooked up with concert tickets—so when asked about what's really going on with him and RiRi, Barnes told TMZ that they're "just past the crush stage."
