Rebel Wilson reveals sexual harassment experience

In a series of tweets, she alleged that "a male star in a position of power" had repeatedly asked her to perform an obscene act.

"I refused. The whole thing was disgusting," she said.

Wilson said the unnamed star's male friends had attempted to film the incident before she left the room.

She complained to the film studio about the encounter, but says she was later "threatened by one of the star's representatives".

The Pitch Perfect actress also recounted a second incident which she described as a "hotel room encounter with a top director".

Rebel Wilson wins $AU4.5m in defamation payout

Ms Wilson successfully argued that a series of magazine articles had wrongly portrayed her as a serial liar.

In June a jury unanimously sided with Ms Wilson, who had claimed the articles stifled her career in Hollywood. She has said she will give the money away.

Bauer Media has always denied the articles were defamatory. A lawyer said it would consider the judgement.

Ms Wilson sought $A7m during the trial but had offered to settle for A$200,000 before it went to court.

Rebel Wilson sues magazine publisher over 'nasty' articles

Ms Wilson is suing publisher Bauer Media over eight articles published by its magazines in 2015.

The Supreme Court of Victoria heard the pieces alleged she had lied about her name, age and upbringing in Australia.

Her "world collapsed" after their publication, her lawyer said. Bauer denies the articles were defamatory.

The Pitch Perfect and Bridesmaids actor, who is seeking unspecified damages, is expected to testify during the case in Melbourne.

Pitch Perfect: Trish Sie to direct third film in franchise

Sie, who previously directed 2014 dance film sequel Step Up All In, takes over from Elizabeth Banks, director of last year's Pitch Perfect 2.

Production on the third film about an all-girl a cappella group was halted after Banks announced in June she would not return to the director's chair.

Banks, who stays on board as producer, announced Sie's involvement on Twitter.
