PNG visit

The head of the International Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police, Inspector General Krishna Murti, S.I.K, M. Si, led the Indonesian delegation for the three days visit that began today.

Inspector General Krishna Murti was given a Guard of Honour and Cross-Arms at the Police headquarters in Port Moresby. Senior members of the Constabulary witnessed the occasion.

The World Tourism Chief accepted the invitation to come to PNG by Minister for Tourism Arts and Culture Tobias Kulang while attending the World Tourism Conference in Penang, Malaysia last week.  Secretary General Dr. Taleb Rifai confirmed that he is coming to PNG with his high powered team from UNWTO Headquarters in Madrid, Spain with a view to support PNG Tourism Promotion Authority and other related tourism industry stakeholders so that PNG can be effectively marketed and promoted as one of the desired tourism destinations of the world.
