PNG Institute of Business Studies

Enrollment for IBS degree program underway

Students are now looking for options to enroll for tertiary education after either Grade 10 or Grade 12 education.

Institute of Business Studies focuses on students’ success and for that reason, the institute and its academics have designed its new IBS Degree programs to support the growing need for more degree holders and certified professionals in Papua New Guinea.

Institution offers second chance to athletes

But, that however, is no longer a concern under the Athletes Excellence Program which is supported by the Institute of Business Studies (IBS) through the Papua New Guinea Olympic Committee (PNGOC).

The programme aims to offer elite PNG athletes the opportunity to obtain educational qualifications through the IBS Diploma and Certificate courses.

These educational qualifications will contribute to their development as individuals and lead them into a successful professional career after their sporting endeavours.

IBS Students mark cultural day

The IBS SEED cultural day as it’s called, is the final activity under the SEED program which the institution has undertaken this year.
The Students Enhanced Experience Day program, according to Student Representative Council President Joseph Haugie, was put together by a lecturer from the Southern Cross University, Australia, and runs through both semesters of the year with various activities.
“This is the last SEED activity of the year and we’re very fortunate it is a cultural event,” Haugie said.
