​2017 Rugby World Cup body welcomes PNG as host

PNG will host three matches at the World Cup with each of the Kumuls pool games to be held in Port Moresby.

RLWC 2017 local organising committee chief executive officer Michael Brown welcomed the support of Prime Minister Peter O’Neill and looks forward to working together to deliver a world class event.

“We are excited about taking the Rugby League World Cup to one of the world’s most passionate Rugby League nations,” he said.

All 28 matches in the tournament will be played across Australia, New Zealand and PNG.
