Fun Run t-shirt for schools

Koiari Park Adventist Secondary received 300 shirts and Tokarara 100 shirts.
This significant contribution aims to support and enhance the students' physical fitness, encourage active lifestyles, and promote unity and teamwork.

PNGSF marketing manager, Mary Nauga said the focus of the organization is to build the next generation of Sports men and women in the country through its Go Rural to Go Global Strategy.

Nauga said the PNGSF has always been committed to promoting sports, health awareness, and community engagement across Papua New Guinea. 

Sports skills development for Kokopo

The Youth Sport Program was featured in both Rabaul and Kokopo townships from 23-26 September.

A total of 12 local Instructors and four national program coordinators from PNGSF headquarters were engaged to take leading roles in teaching students basic skills in four sports which are common in the New Guinea Islands region: soccer, hockey, volleyball and touch.

The four days of skills development targeted three schools namely; Saint Martin - Rabaul District, Vuvu Secondary High School - Kokopo District and Kalamanagunan Primary School - Kokopo District.

PNGSF staff to attend course in Gold Coast

High Performance Sport -PNGSF Director, Aaron Alsop said the course will run from August 2-7 at the Runaway Bay Sports Super Centre (RBSSC).

He said the two staff are- HP Sport Athlete Career and Education (ACE) Coordinator, Richard Ora and National Sport Institute Director, Janet Gimots.

 “The relationship High Performance in PNG and our sports have built with RBSSC sees us continue those opportunities for our athletes and coaches to this day,” said Alsop.
