Menyamya welcomes new vehicles, machineries

This is to continue boosting the service mechanism in the district, under the leadership of local MP and Vice Minister for Treasury, Solen Loifa.

When making the presentation, the local MP said: “We will continue to work hard for Menyamya to progress. This is the time for us to work. Not to involve in political debates with people with hidden political interests on social media.

Gazelle district gets new vehicles

After 10 years, Gazelle district in East New Britain Province has finally received a new fleet of vehicles to replace the aging ones.

The much-needed exercise was conducted by the Gazelle District Development Authority, headed by MP and Fisheries Minister, Jelta Wong.

Early this week, the district received four new twin cab Ford Rangers from local car dealer, PNG Motors, at a cost of K602,946.20.

Apart from the newly purchased vehicles, the district is also awaiting another four new Hilux vehicles from Ela Motors.

New vehicles for Gulf Police

The vehicles were handed over to the Gulf Provincial Police Commander, Chief Inspector Jeffery Lemb at the Southern Divisional Command Headquarter in Port Moresby. The keys to the two vehicles were handed over to PPC Lemb by Police Commissioner David Manning.

New Police Vehicles For Wau, Bulolo

The landowner group of the Hidden Valley mine, Nakuwi Association presented three new vehicles to the law and order and justice sector of the Bulolo and Wau-Waria districts in Morobe Province.

A vehicle each was given to the Wau and Bulolo police stations, and to Morobe’s magisterial services.

Valued at K1.2 million, Nakuwi Chairman, Rex Mauri said Wau and Bulolo have always been labelled as “cowboy towns” due to the severe deterioration of infrastructure and services, compounded with the influx of alluvial miners.

New Look For CBC Staff

On Monday 7th March, 2022, the special ceremony was held at the CBC Centre Waigani. Present to witness the occasion were members of the Central Committee, President of CBCPNGSI and Archbishop of Madang, Anton Bal; Archbishop Douglas Young SVD of Madang; Bishop of Mendi, Donald Lippert OFM Cap; Bishop Otto Separy of Bereina; and Fr Giorgio Licini PIME, General Secretary of CBC.
 

New vehicles for Bulolo police

In a low key ceremony at Mumeng government station yesterday (April 15), the vehicles and the houses were given to the police by the local MP and Deputy Opposition Leader, Sam Basil.

The Toyota Land Cruiser utes were for Bulolo, Wau and Mumeng.

When handing over the vehicles, Basil said presentation had been delayed as there weren’t enough funds to purchase them.
