The students will include two male and two female.
The scholarship was for year 11 and 12 and is an initiative of the New Ireland Government to expand education opportunities for young New Irelanders and to expose them to a multi-cultural environment.
Three students, 2 females (Jillah Kurae and Imelda Kaltubin) and one male (Wendel Banamu) all from three remote islands in the province, are pioneer scholars under this scholarship program in 2017.
