NCD Nurses

NCD nurses go on stop work since Thursday

They will not go back to work until they are given positive response from the authorities.

The 300-strong Port Moresby-based nurses, who are members of the PNG Nurses Association, have stopped work over the Government’s delay in settling the increase in nurse’s salary, audit into their pay structure and establishing of a housing committee as promised to them by the Government.

However, the Government has not honoured its commitment.

The scaling down of services will continue until their demands are met.
