National Youth Convention

National Youth Convention concludes

A total of 246 young people representing the different dioceses in the country had gathered to participate at this time of prayer, reflection and growth in faith.  

The National Youth Convention, which started on December 8th, concluded on the 12th with a Eucharistic celebration at the Sacred Heart Cathedral.

Apostolic Nuncio to Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands, Archbishop Mathew Kurian Vayalunkal, expressed his joy at being present for the celebration.

The theme is: Called to the fullness of Life and Love.

Two-hundred-and-sixty young people representing the different dioceses in the country gathered at Vunapope, East New Britain, to participate at this time of prayer, reflection and growth in faith.   

Archbishop Francisco Panfilo SDB, Archbishop of Rabaul, was the main celebrant at the Opening Eucharistic celebration.
