National Premier League Champions League finals

Hekari beat Markham

It took just three minutes for Hekari to get on the board.

It came about when Markham's Timas Yawaka was shown the yellow card for a foul inside the penalty box.

Daniel Joe did the rest, beating the keeper to openĀ  Hekari's account.

Meantime, the wet conditions of Lae's Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium, suited the Markham boys.

But they failed to capitalize on their countless scoring opportunities.

Kolu got his first in the 34th dribbling past several defenders, before finding the back of the net.
