Local MP Koi Trappe said he was very happy with the Sport Policy and looked forward to implementing it and getting things moving.
“I am happy with the work the PNG Sports Foundation team has done with our District Sport Policy and I will support it,” Trappe said.
The policy, touted to be the first ever at any district level, is amongst other developments that Trappe said have been enhanced through partnerships with the health, education, infrastructure, law & order and agriculture sectors.
