Gunemba: I know we can play better

The Dwellers just didn’t click on game day resulting in their 4-1 demise to Nalktuan FC on Friday.

“We were supposed to play our best but something went wrong.”

Miscommunication between the back four cost them dearly, conceding four goals in the second half.

In attack, the Dwellers forwards didn’t have enough supply from the backline.

“We were thinking we would play better in the second half, even though in the first they raided our defence a few times. I know we can play better but I think they went in and went to sleep.

Dwellers go down; but book finals spot

Both sides went into the sheds at half-time with the score at nil all.

Nalkutan's Azariah Soromon powered his side to the front early in the second half with two goals in the 47th and 57th.

Another goal three minutes later put Nalkutan in firm control in front of the home crowd at Korman Stadium, Vanuatu.

Dwellers' only goal came from Nigel Dabinyaba.

But the show belonged to Soromon who found the back of the net for the third time right on the 90 minute mark.

Nalkutan's win has booked them a home final in Pool A after finishing first with three wins.

This fired up the Dwellers who came out hungry for more points in the second half.
