Kavieng MP Ben Micah

K80m diverted fraudulently in land purchase: Opposition

People Progress Party leader and Kavieng MP, Ben Micah, in Parliament during Question Time on Friday, asked Defence Minister Dr Fabian Pok to come clean on the dealings of his department.

However, the Minister was absent from Friday’s session, which led to the questions being directed to Prime Minister Peter O’Neill.

House suspended following question by Micah to Pok

Micah asked the Minister for Defence Fabian Pok to confirm or deny whether the Defence Secretary was his in-law.

However, the Acting Speaker ruled out the question saying the question was already asked and deliberated on.

However, Micah kept on asking the questions without adhering to the Speaker's directives.

The Acting Speaker then ordered the Sergeant to remove Micah. Micah refused which prompted the Acting Speaker to suspend the Parliament.
