Tournament director Joey Chan said the round robin matches started on Wednesday and were played over the best of three frames.

The final 16 will be play in the quarter finals today.

Chan said the semi-finals will be played at 11am on Sunday and the two winners will meet in the grand final at 3pm at the Lamana Q Club.

A closing ceremony will be held at 7pm following the grand final.

Meanwhile, nominations and registrations for the Major Titles are slowly coming in.

At the presentation after the grand final on Sunday, Chan said he was pleased with the commitment of each team and congratulated every player and team for participating.

“Despite the forfeiture by one of C Grade teams due to the players attending to the National Elections related duties, all went well since the competition started in March,” said Chan.
