Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet released a joint statement posted on his verified Instagram account Wednesday, announcing they are ending their marriage.

"We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times... A revolution is unfolding ~and our family is of no exception... feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring," the statement read. "And so~ We share our Family news~That we are parting ways in marriage."

The pair reportedly met at a jazz club in 2005, well before Momoa became famous playing Khal Drogo on "Game of Thrones."

Ms Graham was stationed on the red carpet, interviewing celebrities as they arrived when the cringe-worthy interaction occurred.

The model demanded Haiwaiian-born Jason Momoa perform a "haka move" for her. She then vaguely tries to demonstrate what she means, in case the indigenous man was unclear on her request.

Her demonstration was a strange little hop from foot to foot, with a half hunch.

It was awkward.

"I just need citizenship and we're good," he told Newshub.

His blockbuster juggernaut Aquaman is about to flood cinemas here - and all he can talk about is New Zealand.

"Obviously I am very close to it," he says.

He'll talk about the beauty of naked branches in the winter while a daunting, blood-covered rubber apron -- a prop, he later explained -- hangs above his head. He'll show you his handcrafted knife collection and later confess his aversion to hunting for pure sport.

"I'm a walking contradiction," he joked to CNN in a recent interview.

The truth is, Momoa knows movie and TV audiences don't really know a lot about the real him. But they will soon.
