IBS graduates encouraged

The students received their certificate III in Accounting, Business, Information Technology, and Certificate IV in Human Resource Management, Accounting, Business, and Information Technology at the 6 Mile campus. 

Vice Chancellor of IBU, Dr. Ramachandran Arunachalam when addressing the students said, “Follow your passion even though your pathway is difficult. Be open to new ideas and learn as many things as possible.”

Team PNG athletes graduate with distinction

Three received special awards at the 27th Graduation Ceremony last Friday in Port Moresby.

Three of the six athletes who graduated from various fields finished in the top three with karate athlete, Buruka Chapau, awarded the dux after finishing first in his Certificate 3 in Information Technology course. His classmate and PNG football athlete, Roland Bala, came in third place.

Volleyball athlete, Annrika Garena, got second place in the Certificate 3 in Business course. She was also selected to speak on behalf of all the graduands.

IBS issue clarified

 IBS University has received numerous inquiries from parents and students expressing concerns that students weren’t selected to IBSU as their first choice, however selected to other tertiary institutions.

Joanna Dagina of Lae, is a parent of a prospecting student of IBSU.

Dagina expressed disappointment that her daughter was not selected to IBSU  despite per her first choice indicated in her School Leaver Form at the end of Year 12.
