Human resource key to development

This is the message from Life PNG Care National Director, Collin Pake, when receiving a donation of K1,500 from Port Moresby social club, Hash House Harriers.

He said a lack of leadership failed to address many of the social problems experienced in the city, particularly orphaned and homeless kids and youths, while more attention is given to other areas.

“The potential of our country is not in any other resources. Human resources are the building foundation. They are the key. And without human resources Papua New Guinea we’ll never change.

Enga Governor drives education

They are Tsak and Pilikambi provincial high schools that are located in Wapenmanda and upper Laiagam districts.

Governor Sir Peter Ipatas told thousands of parents in both districts last week that the Department of Education had approved his administration’s submissions for the elevation of the two schools to enrol grade 11 students next year.

The two new learning institutions bring the number of secondary schools in the province to seven. The other five include St Pauls (Pausa), Four Square, Sir Tei Abal, Kopen and Highlands Lutheran International School.
