Governor for New Ireland

The Bill makes provision to empower the provinces, apart from the State, to reserve land for certain purposes and compulsorily acquire land in the province.

Governor for New Ireland, Sir Julius Chan, said the two buildings now give confidence to New Ireland to welcome any important and high profile world leaders to visit and have the quality and standard of accommodation appropriate for their status.
