The Aussie company behind THAT epic Game of Thrones scene

That was the reality for hundreds of staff at Australian visual effects firm Iloura, who were tasked with bringing to life a key battle scene in the latest season of the global phenomenon.

WARNING: IF YOU'RE NOT UP-TO-DATE ON GAME OF THRONES, THERE ARE SPOILERS AHEAD.

The epic scene in episode four, called The Loot Train, was brought to life by hundreds of staff over seven months.

They added fire, smoke, horses and people to hundreds of shots — though a different firm handled the dragons.

Charlize Theron shines in sexy, violent, beautiful Atomic Blonde

An action thriller of hyper-stylised visuals and a catchy 80s soundtrack, it raises your heartbeat to fight-or-flight levels.

It's also a film that reflects a pattern in Charlize Theron's career, a kind of bratty rejoinder to the demure beauty she embodies as the face of a Dior perfume.

Set in Berlin on the eve of the collapse of Soviet communism, it's the story of MI6 operative Lorraine Broughton (Theron), who is sent to track down a defecting Stasi spy (Eddie Marsan) in possession of a file that could blow the cover of the entire allied spy network in East Germany.

Bend It Like Beckham 15 years on: Inspiring women's football

You would be wrong for thinking Keira Knightley's career is the only one to be launched by the 2002 film.

"That was the film for girls to watch to inspire them to play football," says England's Alex Greenwood.

It certainly inspired the 23-year-old. Her country takes on France in the quarter-finals of Euro 2017 on Sunday.

The Liverpool defender caught up with Newsbeat shortly before flying to the Netherlands.

"I love that film," says Alex. "I mean I watch it back now and it's a little bit cringe but it was the film to watch."

Dwayne Johnson's new 'movie' with Siri

That's what the actor did with "The Rock x Siri: Dominate The Day," an almost four minute long video posted on Apple's You Tube channel.

In it, Johnson plays on the joke that he can do it all -- from bonsai to space travel.

He gets plenty of help from Apple's assistant Siri.

Johnson promoted the project in a tweet on Sunday.

"Teamed w/ @Apple to make the biggest, coolest, sexiest, funnest (is that a word?) movie ever," he wrote in a post. "Drops TOMORROW! #ROCKxSIRI #DominateYourDay."

Sydney Film Festival's Screenability puts spotlight on people living with disabilities

For the first time, films that have been made and acted by people living with disabilities will be a key part of the program.

It has been made possible by Screenability — an arts initiative in New South Wales to help more people with disabilities break into the film industry.

"I think it's really important that you have creatives with disability in charge of that narrative," Sydney Film Festival's Screenability programmer Sofya Gollan said.

'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' teaser trailer lands in our galaxy

Disney (DIS) released the first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated next chapter in the "Star Wars" saga, "The Last Jedi," Friday.

The trailer followed a panel with the film's stars, director Rian Johnson and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy that took place at the massive "Star Wars" fan gathering, Star Wars Celebration, in Orlando, Florida.

'The Boss Baby' doesn't milk enough laughs from premise

Based on a popular picture book, the basic idea could hardly be more universal: life is going along just swimmingly for 7 ½-year-old Tim (voiced by Miles Bakshi), until his parents (Lisa Kudrow, Jimmy Kimmel) inform him that he's about to have a baby brother.

Because a grown-up Tim (Tobey Maguire) narrates the story, a bit of hyperbole is reasonable, like his recollection of the baby (Alec Baldwin, in an inspired casting stroke) motoring up to the driveway in a cab, already wearing a little suit and tie.

The Rock puts muscle behind boot camp in HBO documentary

Dwayne Johnson, a.k.a. The Rock, lends his celebrity to the similarly themed "Rock and a Hard Place," which hews closer to reality TV than most of HBO's nonfiction efforts.

The film centers on the Miami-Dade County Corrections & Rehabilitation Boot Camp Program, which seeks to break the "cycle of incarceration" by putting 38 young men, all facing prison sentences for serious crimes, through a 16-week boot camp conducted by military personnel.

Brie Larson to star in Amazon film about first female U.S. presidential candidate

Larson has signed on to play Victoria Woodhull, who became the first woman to run for president of the United States after launching a campaign in 1872.

Larson's agent and representative confirmed the casting to CNN. Deadline first reported the news.

Larson is set to produce the film, alongside others.

'Beauty and the Beast' nabs $350 million worldwide

Of that total, $170 million came at theaters in North America.

The domestic total exceeded what people in the industry had expected, and it broke the record for the biggest box office opening in March. The record had been held by last year's opening of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." It's also the best opening weekend of 2017 so far.
