Eat Drink Port Moresby

Organisers have confirmed the new date as July 1 and 2, 2017.

It was initially set to close the month of April from 29 – 30.

The organisers announced the change in date earlier in April, due to venue availability issues.

Organiser Rowanna Endose told Loop PNG that the dates are the only change.

“Everything else is pretty much the same,” she said.

Endose is the founder of Eat Drink Port Moresby, a community that follows the eating culture in Port Moresby.

She would take pictures of whatever she ate and put it up on her Instagram account.

When she found out there was a bigger community out there doing the same, she reached out to people with similar interests.

Conversations and discussions sparked the idea for Eat Drink Port Moresby – a two-day food festival to be staged in April.

Initial planning began last year as early as April with events manager Pascoe Promotions coming on board to help facilitate.
