Dwayne Johnson opens up about his dad's 'quick' death and thanks supporters

The actor's legendary pro-wrestling father, Rocky Johnson, passed away last week at age 75.

The younger Johnson posted an almost eight-minute video Sunday on his official Instagram account in which he expressed his appreciation.

"Hard to express how deeply grateful I am for all your love, mana & support," the caption read. "My family and I thank you. Go hug your loved ones hard, while you still can. I love you. DJ #ripsoulman."

The wrestler-turned-actor said during the video, "My heart is so full of gratitude."

Little Tiana was reportedly born on Tuesday, April 17 and is the Fast and Furious star's third daughter.

Johnson posted a heartfelt message on Instagram to caption a photo of him cradling the infant.

"Skin to skin. Our mana. Blessed and proud to bring another strong girl into this world," he said.

"To my third and youngest daughter, Tiana Gia - like I did when your two older sisters Simone Alexandra and Jasmine Lia were born, you have my word, I'll love, protect, guide and make you laugh for the rest of my life.

Dwayne Johnson's new 'movie' with Siri

That's what the actor did with "The Rock x Siri: Dominate The Day," an almost four minute long video posted on Apple's You Tube channel.

In it, Johnson plays on the joke that he can do it all -- from bonsai to space travel.

He gets plenty of help from Apple's assistant Siri.

Johnson promoted the project in a tweet on Sunday.

"Teamed w/ @Apple to make the biggest, coolest, sexiest, funnest (is that a word?) movie ever," he wrote in a post. "Drops TOMORROW! #ROCKxSIRI #DominateYourDay."

The Rock puts muscle behind boot camp in HBO documentary

Dwayne Johnson, a.k.a. The Rock, lends his celebrity to the similarly themed "Rock and a Hard Place," which hews closer to reality TV than most of HBO's nonfiction efforts.

The film centers on the Miami-Dade County Corrections & Rehabilitation Boot Camp Program, which seeks to break the "cycle of incarceration" by putting 38 young men, all facing prison sentences for serious crimes, through a 16-week boot camp conducted by military personnel.

Dwayne Johnson pays a visit to children's hospital

The star posted a photo of him greeting Aiden, a patient at the Savannah hospital's Pediatric Specialty Ward.

Some scenes of the Baywatch reboot were filmed at the hospital.

"Awesome experience and THANK YOU to all the hard working and caring staff who helped make this visit possible. To all the kids I met - you guys keep smiling and staying strong. All the mamas and daddy's I met, y'all stay strong too," Johnson wrote.
