Resource owners get ‘peanuts’

Dr. James Naipao, as a concerned citizen, says Papua New Guinea has lost a lot and will continue to do so.

“Harvesters of our resources, who are foreign owned companies and corporations, are also given the majority of the harvesting and sales cuts, resulting in giving less than two percent of the profit or sales return to the resource owners who have been custodians to these resources for thousands, if not millions, of years.

No contractor can build level 7 hospital: NDA

“This is a concern now,” says the President of the National Doctors Association, Dr. James Naipao.

Dr Naipao was referring to the Port Moresby General Hospital redevelopment plan.

“The Board of PMGH and Management might think otherwise. This statement stands to be corrected if otherwise there is one.

Perpetrators in doctor’s assault identified

NCD Metropolitan Superintendent, Ben Turi, said: “The men have been identified to be from Waigani Police Station and they will be dealt with under the rule of law.”

He adds that his sergeant is currently working on the case and they are yet to release details of the number of men involved.

This response comes after the National Doctors Association held a press conference yesterday, giving the Royal PNG Constabulary 48 hours to find the perpetrators.
