Marshall returned for Broncos' feeder side Redcliffe last week, his first competitive match since breaking his wrist earlier in the season.

The 32-year-old is set to make his first start for Brisbane in Saturday's clash against the Warriors in Auckland, alongside Hunt who has been sidelined for six weeks with a hamstring injury.

Marshall's selection has been prompted by Anthony Milford's call up to Queensland's State of Origin team and hooker Andrew McCullough's serious concussion. 

The team gave their players an opportunity to tell this story and show what their culture means to them last week when they organised a cultural dinner. 

The dinner was used as a bonding experience and encouraged some of the quieter players to come out of their shell. 

The Broncos are a club built on inclusion, and this is not just within the playing group, with the club itself running a number of mentoring and educational programs for Indigenous Australians and Torres Strait Islander people. 

The 22-year-old appeared to bobble a pass on the ground before he stepped off his right foot and coolly slotted the one-pointer with his left boot to give his side a pulsating 25-24 win at ANZ Stadium. 

Rabbitohs coach Michael Maguire questioned the 78th-minute incident, but Milford said it was a fair play. 

Roberts may have scored the try, but Matt Gillett's act of desperation ultimately gifted the speedster with his third try of the night.

Gillett rushed out of the line to charge down a Kane Elgey kick in the 78th minute, recovering the ball and giving off to the quickest man on the park.

Despite the loss, there are positive signs for Brisbane and their fans, with Hunt putting in an inspiring 80-minute performance. 

After receiving a lot of criticism during the week about his poor kicking performance in Round 1, Hunt bounced back in a big way and sent a message to his critics.
