The once beautiful Madang Town has lost its way, but this is about to change.

Madang MP Bryan Kramer is adamant to take matters into his own hands, with his first order of business to address this issue and additional matters that have dragged the reputation of the town down and continue to destroy the lives of the people.

“My first order of business is to cancel the land title – public land belongs to the people; it doesn’t belong to the private sector,” says Kramer.

“My second agenda will be to address pick pocketing and loitering as well.”

“Look after your hair and most importantly, the scalp, which is very important.”

And this message, she says, has the same level of importance to men, women, parents and youth.

She stressed that once the scalp is damaged, growing your hair will be difficult.

“Scalp can be damaged by so many reasons but most common we have come across is the ones damaged by chemicals after frequent visits to salons who are doing nothing but destroying hair and scalp in the name of fashion and beauty.”

The rare disorder gives her a "cat-like" appearance, which got the attention of British fashion photographer Nick Knight.

He first spotted the 29-year-old from Seattle on Instagram and she's since starred in V Magazine.

"It's been the most beautiful whirlwind of my life," she tells Newsbeat.

Cat eye syndrome is also called Schmid-Fraccaro syndrome.

But now the trend is becoming a lot more accessible through the latest craze: fluorescent light-inspired makeup looks.

Yep, that's right. Your eyes or lips can actually look like they're glowing, thanks to skillful recreations of those same neon lights that fill your feeds.
