True Blood star dies aged 39

Ellis's manager, Emily Gerson Saines, confirmed the actor's death via an emailed statement on Saturday (local time).

The Hollywood Reporter, which was first to report Ellis's death, quoted her as saying the actor died from complications of heart failure, adding more information would come to light in coming days.

I Am Heath Ledger will showcase never-before seen home footage of the actor, providing a rare look into his personal life and his passion for film.

Australia: Actor fatally shot while filming music video

Johann Ofner, 28, was shot in the chest and pronounced dead at the scene, according to CNN affiliate Seven News.

Detective Inspector Tom Armitt said that "during the filming (of the music video) several firearms were used."
