2017 National Soccer League competition

Dwellers leading NSL competition

After game six of round two over the weekend, Dwellers have racked up 13 competition points from four wins and one draw.

While, Vitis Yamaros FC sit at the bottom of the ladder having yet to win a game this season.

The current team standings in the competition are:

Lae City Dwellers FC (13), Madang FC (10), Huawei PS United FC (10), Besta PNG United FC (7), Buang FC (7), Vitis Yamaros FC (1).

Meanwhile, game seven of round two will see games played in Port Moresby and Lae.

Huawei football club launches 2017 season

As part of the club’s plans to grow, Huawei PS United FC (HPSUFC) has recruited mostly new and “raw talents” from local competitions around the country.  

It’s an exciting time for the club since its inception from 1992 to now having a team participating in the semi-professional league.     

The club announced its 28-member team during its launch on Saturday night in Port Moresby.
