Two people dead in terrorist attack at London Bridge

Two people who were injured in the attack have died, according to London’s police commissioner. Three other people who were injured are being treated at hospital. 

Police had earlier said it was called to a stabbing at a “premises” near London Bridge at around 2 p.m. local time. It ended with passersby tackling the fleeing suspect before he was shot dead by officers.

More footage showed a different man walking away with a large knife he reportedly wrestled from the attacker.

Dust devil kills two children and injures 20 people in China

A small whirlwind known as a dust devil tore the inflatable from the ground at a fairground in Yucheng county.

One parent reportedly told local media that she saw children fall from a height of about 20 metres (66ft).

A county government official told the South China Morning Post it was unclear whether "human factors" played a role.

Local authorities said 18 other children and two adults were taken to hospital. One child was in a serious condition while the rest were being treated for minor injuries.

Melbourne siege a 'terror' attack - police

The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the siege, in which a man was killed, several police were injured and a woman was held against her will.

Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Graham Ashton said the gunman, believed to be Yacqub Khayre, was known to police and had a long criminal history.

"We are treating it as a terrorism incident," Commissioner Ashton told ABC.

The gunman was shot dead by police, ending the siege which lasted more than an hour.

Two die in road accident in Central

Witnesses told LOOP PNG, the deceased, a male and a female were thrown off the back of the maroon land cruiser at different times when the driver lost control at a dangerous bend near Manugoro village, causing the car to slip and roll twice down a slope.

"The female was thrown in the first flip. She died instantly when her head hit a rock," witnesses said.

"The male was tossed onto the bitumen road in the second flip and died instantly."

There were six people in the car, three females and three males, all from the Highlands.
