Wisil swings into action tomorrow

The 2017 IAAF World Championships for PNG will get underway with Toea Wisil swinging into action in round one of the 100m on Saturday, at 11.45 local time (20:45 in PNG).

Wisil hopes to progress to Sunday evening’s semi-final.

Ephraim Lerkin will run the 400m hurdles round one on Sunday morning, 11.05 local time, and Rellie Kaputin’s long  jump event is on August 9.

Following this, Wisil will run again in the 200m heats.

The 2017 IAAF World Championships are the 16th edition which will be held in London, United Kingdom, from August 4-13.
