At the Oil Search National Football Stadium in the nation's capital, the Vipers caused an upset beating the Snax Lae Tigers 18-14.
In the second match, the Wigmen were too strong for the Chimbu Warriors beating them 26-6.
Up in the Highlands, the Mioks def. Giru Waghi Tumbe 10-4 and the Lahanis def. PRK Mendi Muruks 24-10.
To Kokopo, the Gurias thumped PRK Gulf Isou 26-4.
