NCD sends security over for PNG Games

Ten National Capital District police officers have been sent to Kimbe to help secure Team NCD whilst they are there for the games.

NCDC Urban Safety Director, Paul Komboi, says the personnel, sourced from respective stations around the city, are on ground to help with security during the games.

Komboi explains that this arrangement is in conjunction with the NCDC and the Royal PNG Constabulary.

The personnel have been tasked to carry out security detail of the team while also liaising with the Kimbe police.

Komboi says the officers will be paying courtesy visits to the provincial police commander WNB and his command whilst also liaising with the NCD team management.

“The officers are there to ensure that our team is safe and secure to participate in the games,” he said.
