Momase eye victory in round eight

FC Momase coach, Rosen Matanga is hoping for a better performance from his side when they face FC Morobe Wawens tomorrow at the PNG Football Stadium in Port Moresby.

Matangan said he would be looking to retain the line-up that played against Toti City FC last weekend.

“We are looking to improve from where we left off last weekend and hopefully come up with a positive result at the end.

With Basil Jofari and senior players Moses Asrib, Krapet Tingut, Theo Sergius and Junior Sasu at the helm, the coach is confident they will put up a strong performance against the Dallas Namuesh-led team.

Wawens’s coach, Peter Seski will call on the services of midfielders Alu Awi, Bernard Purari, Michael Saun and Dallas Namuesh.

Up front, Seski will have Francis Isom and speedy Giwi Simon to lead the attack.

This match kicks off at 3pm.

In Lae, the double header at Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium will see Southern Strikers FC face yet another tough test when they size-up against defending NSL champions Toti City FC starting at 12:30pm.

The main match should go down to wire with the PNGFA development team Besta United PNG hosting Madang FC at 3pm.
