Kumuls out and about at VC

It’s just a day to go before the PNG LNG Kumuls’ first match against Wales in Port Moresby and some members of the team were out and about at Vision City today.

PNG has never beaten Wales before and they hope to rewrite the record books this time around.

Two sleeps to the first 2017 Rugby League World Cup match between PNG Kumuls and Wales and some members of the Kumuls took time out of camp to take photos and sign autographs.

It was also an ideal time for keen rugby league followers to purchase their world cup tickets for Saturday’s match.

The home ground advantage will be a big boost for the Kumuls’ morale and it showed in today’s public outreach.

Enoch Maki, Moses Meninga, Nene McDonald and Stargroth Amean were some of the Kumul players on hand to mingle with the public while signing and distributing RLWC posters.

Tickets for this weekend’s showdown between PNG LNG Kumuls and Wales are on sale at Big Rooster outlets, Ticketmaster and the RLWC website.

Also present at Vision City to meet and greet fans was Oil Search Orchids captain Cathy Neap.

PNG LNG Kumuls will take on Wales at the NFS at 3.30pm on Saturday.
