Hunters set

SP PNG Hunters head coach Michael Marum has named his 18-man for the clash against the Wynnum Manly Eagles at the BMD Kougari Oval in Brisbane, this Sunday.

The Hunters are hoping for an away win this time, with Thompson Teteh making a comeback in the Hunters camp, and Captain Ase Boas to add confidence to the boys this weekend.

The SP Hunters take on Wynnum Manly in Round 10 of the Intrust Super Cup match on Sunday May 13, 2018 at 3pm, at the BMD Kougari oval in Brisbane.

Head coach Michael Marum has finalised the 18 man travelling team to Brisbane tomorrow.

Dilbert Isaac gets a start at prop with Ila Alu named to partner Put in the second row.

The interchange list has been shortened, with the exclusion of Brendon Gotuno and Patrick Morea.

Meantime, the SP Hunters ‘away’ games will be televised ‘live’ starting this weekend, through Digicel’s TVWan Plus channel.

PNGRFL CEO Reatau Rau said the ‘live’ televising of the games was made possible through a partnership with SP Brewery.

He said this should motivate and inspire the SP Hunters players to perform better knowing that everybody in the country will be watching.
