Hunters nominate Boas for award

Captain and five-eighth of the SP Hunters, Ase Boas, has been nominated by the club for this year’s XXXX People’s Choice Award.

Boas goes up against 13 other nominees, which include his Kumuls teammates and former Hunters players, Justin Olam, who is the 2017 nominee for the Sunshine Coast Falcons, and Thompson Teteh for the Redcliffe Dolphins.

The player with the most votes will be announced at the annual QRL Awards Dinner on August 30 at the Royal International Convention Centre, Brisbane.

Ever since entering the Intrust Super Cup competition in 2014, the Hunters have won the award three years in a row.
