FFPNG successfully stages friendly matches in Kokopo

Football Federation PNG has touched base in the New Guinea Islands region with two friendly matches played yesterday at the Kalabond Oval, Kokopo.

In the main match, Hekari United FC outclassed FC Radazz 5-1.

Again, it was the Kepo brothers who featured prominently in the win with two goals to Ati and one to Kolu.

The other two points came off the boot of Nathan James.

In the curtain raiser which was a women's match, the Autonomous Region of Bougainville drew 1-1 with East New Britain.

Next up on the FFPNG calendar will be the seven-a-side tournaments which will be held in all four Conferences (Northern, Southern, Highlands and NGI) across the country during the month of April.
