Besta gets K100, 000 boost from IFC

Besta PNG United FC received a major boost to their campaign in this year’s National Soccer League competition receiving a K100,000 from the International Food Cooperation.

CEO of IFC, Rosedean Zailey Dzulkfli before handing over the cheque to Papua New Guinea Football Association praised the PNGFA Besta development program.

“As you all know, IFC has been a great supporter of football through its franchise team Besta PNG United and were proud to say that the performance of the youngsters has tremendously grown and improved over the years,” said Dzulkfli.

Dzulkfli admitted that IFC was passionate about soccer and wants to continue with its support to create pathways for players.

“Our young people are the future of our nation and deserve support and encouragement,” said Dzulkfli.

General Secretary of the PNGFA, Dimirit Mileng said the PNGFA Besta development program has contributed a lot to soccer in the country.

He said the Besta sponsorship has developed a lot of players who are now at their peak playing overseas and also for the national team.
