Another loss away for the Hunters

The SP Hunters lost their fourth consecutive game away going down to the Redcliffe Dolphins 20-6 in Brisbane, Australia, last night.

Despite a good start from the Hunters, it was the home side who got on the board first through a penalty conversion from Kotoni Staggs in the 4th minute.

The Hunters continued to attack and they managed to find the try line in the 9th minute after rookie winger Junior Rau scored off a Watson Boas grubber.

Brother and skipper, Ase BoasĀ kicked a penalty goal to push the Hunters out to 6-2.

But the Dolphins maintained their composure and struck twice in the back end of the first half to give them a 14-6 advantage at the break.

The Dolphins kept the momentum going, extending their lead seven minutes into the second half, thanks to fullback Tony Tumusa who scooted over.

Staggs converted to cap off a perfect night with the boot with 4/4.

From here, it was all defence with the Dolphins holding on to make it their fourth consecutive win this season, while for the Hunters, their away record has worsened, having yet to win a game down South.
