Toktok Bilong Strongim Nesen

The first event of the new Toktok Bilong Strongim Nesen discussion series will be held on July 2nd at the University of Papua of New Guinea.

The series explores themes and policy issues pertinent to Papua New Guinea and the Pacific. The first discussion topic is ‘Male Champions of Change: Partners in the push for gender equality’.

The event will feature a keynote address by Elizabeth Broderick, founder of Male Champions of Change in Australia.

She will be joined for a panel discussion by:

  • Serena Sasingian, CEO, Digicel Foundation;
  • Dr Eric Kwa, Secretary for the Department of Justice and Attorney General; and
  • Moderated by Chris Moraitis, Secretary, Australian Attorney-General's Department.

The panel discussion will include an opportunity for questions from the audience.

Toktok Bilong Strongim Nesen is supported by the PNG-Australia Partnership and hosted by the University of Papua New Guinea to build public engagement on key issues and provide an open platform for discussion.
