The Speaker of Parliament, Job Pomat, has adjourned Parliament to May 28, 2019.
The motion to adjourn Parliament was raised by Leader of Government Business Nick Kuman.
Opposition Leader Patrick Pruaitch raised the motion to remove the Speaker but was not entertained as they have 59 MPs voting against while the Opposition has 50.
