Pangu Pati to align policies with Vision 2050

Pangu Pati will align its policies with the country’s 2050 vision.

Pangu Pati General Secretary Morris Tovebae said this will differentiate the party’s policies from the other parties.

He added that a cost analyse will be carried out into all key economic sectors such as education and health to better plan and budget.

Tovebae said the five party pillars that will be taken into the 2017 National Elections are;

  1. Trade,  economy and finance
  2. Urbanization and infrastructure development
  3. Governance and International Relations
  4. Social Services
  5. Law and Order, National Justice, security and sovereignty

“The difference we want to make now is to link our party polices to the Vision 2050, that is very important because many of the political parties do not have their policies linked to Vision 2050,”  Tovebae said on Tuesday at the National Research Institute.

“We cannot run the country on an adhoc basis we must know the amount to spend on services and also shifting money from urban to rural areas.”

Tovebae clarified that the party will announce candidates running under the party banner after the Party council endorse its candidates next week.
