Kramer plans to keep Govt on its toes

The Member for Madang, Bryan Kramer, will continue to keep the Government on their toes.

Following talks that the Government will ban Facebook, he has indicated that he will challenge the decision if it comes to reality.

He says he will do the same for any Government decision that breaches the constitution.

“There’s some talk about the Government considering a policy to ban Facebook. Any decision the Government makes I intend to review. And if I find that it’s in breach of our constitution or the rights of the people or certain interests of the people then I intend to file proceedings to stop it.”

Meanwhile, he said since threatening to take the Government to Court over DSIP funds, the Government has now been equally paying DSIP across the board.

Despite this, he will not drop the issue.

“It’s still an issue that needs to be looked at because you don’t know what will happen in the future, whether it will be abused again, so it’s one of the applications I intend to file.”

He said right now he has been tied down with time over the party, issues of Madang and now the issue of NICTA regarding SIM registration.
